- Gated estate with excellent security
- Only 1.3 km from the main beach and lagoon area
- Spacious open plan living area flooded with sunshine from the wide glass doors leading onto the front veranda, which wraps around the house.
- Built-in barbeque, a Weber and garden furniture for outdoor entertainment. The front garden is spacious and private.
- The kitchen is fitted with modern appliances. An extra fridge/deepfreeze is in the garage where there is also storage for canoes and surfboards.
- Three carpeted bedrooms upstairs sleep a total of 8 people. All bedrooms have ample wardrobe space, fans and sliding doors to verandas. White Percale linen is provided.
- The master bedroom has a king-sized bed. The en-suite bathroom has an oversized tub and spacious shower.
- Bedroom 2 has a queen size bed and the bedroom 3 has two comfortable bunk beds. A large bathroom with tub and shower serves bedroom 2 and 3.
- The Estate has a Balinese style Club house with a 25m swimming pool, tennis court and childrens’ play area. When the beach is windy there is a great deal else to amuse at the Idwala Lodges.
- The house is serviced, has uncapped Wifi and DStv premium is provided.

Situated in a very secure quiet cul-de-sac the lodge no 4 , was well cared for and fully equipped with everything we needed for our 2 month stay . Wi fi was installed whilst we were there . The communal swimming pool and tennis courts superb , were well maintained . Our host Wendy was always most helpful . Her knowledge of the area is extensive of its flora and fauna in particular . We sought for and always received good advice from her and Mike . We were happy to walk to the local small cafe and shop , the Lagoon resort , the beach , and the Ocean Reef Hotel . Our weekly shopping was done in any of the large supermarkets in Ballito where there is also a wide variety of excellent individual shops . We thoroughly enjoyed our stay made all the more enjoyable by Wendy’s kindness.
